There are lots of fantastic reasons why your school should come along and enjoy the very best of children’s theatre at TakeOff Festival. Here are just a few of them
We know how busy teachers are and how difficult it can be to arrange trips out of school, so we like to make life as easy as possible to attend TakeOff Festival. We will;-
- Arrange return travel from your nursery to the venue
- Meet and greet you from the bus
- Provide a risk assessment for your visit
- Organise packed lunch areas or other activities to extend your visit
Don’t forget – teachers and accompanying adults go free (in line with recommended ratios).
Our shows are specifically targeted to meet the learning and developmental needs of your children. Many offer learning resources with themed links to the curriculum.
Schools – New for 2017, extend your day with The Story Spinner
Book a show during TakeOff 2017 and you will have the option to see The Story Spinner before or after your show at no additional cost. Suitable for ages 5-12 years. Subject to availability, booking must be made in advance.
Working towards an Arts Award?
By taking part in TakeOff Festival, your young people can work towards achieving an Arts Award.
To achieve it, children and young people need to discover the arts around them, find out about artists and their work and share their experiences with others. More information can be found at www.artsaward.org.uk
